In this way, the introduction to the theory and practice of the KNX bus system can be combined with the next holiday, for example, or ideally with the planned team-building measure, so to speak as a beneficial time-out from the daily business.

Professionals receive the necessary KNX basic knowledge for planning, project planning, installation, commissioning of KNX installations - and of course for troubleshooting - through the training and education units. Trainers show in particular the professional handling of the commissioning software ETS. The theory learned is deepened on devices in the practical laboratory through exercises, testing functions and finding solutions. The Apricum seminar programme complies with the specified guidelines of the KNX Association and each participant receives his or her personal KNX certificate after passing the exam.
The group participants check into their hotel, optionally a few days before the course starts, and thus have the opportunity to explore Split extensively. The training then begins with the basics of KNX and the use of the ETS. For the entire practical part of the training, PC workstations with the option of test set-ups are available for extensive testing and experimentation. Already on the third day, the participants are able to implement small sample projects. The skills acquired for special project planning and commissioning with KNX are then further deepened and supplemented with knowledge of KNX RF radio transmission. The last teaching block before the final examination then explicitly teaches how to systematically search for, rectify and avoid errors. After the KNX certificate has been awarded, the holiday or team-building measure can be continued.
