The University of Split, founded in 1998, maintains various research and specialist departments. In 2003, five departments were established in the University Department of Professional Studies. Apricum d.o.o supports the Department of Electrical Engineering. As an example, six panels (photo) were recently handed over on which modern installations can be programmed with KNX technology. In this way, students can gain important experience for their future careers in the courses provided for this purpose and successfully read off results on the panels.
Apricum wants to promote common values with the university and the students through its commitment. For example, the knowledge base is also to be broadened on a practical level. "Students can thus find a real connection to practical application. These future professionals will thus become even more interesting for innovative companies," says managing director Olivera Tomic and adds: "The university wants to expand relations with regional industry, and we are happy to comply with this wish."
